FAQ
​Q: What age should my puppy be to join the Puppy Course?
A: Puppies can join from 12 weeks. Please bring their vaccination card with you to your first session to show that they have had both vaccinations. This course is ideas for puppies up to 6 months.

Q: My dog is older than a puppy - what course should I choose?
A: Our Adolescent Course is perfect for dogs aged around 6 months to 2 years who need help navigating the ‘teenage’ phase with improved focus and recall.

Q: Do I need any prior training experience to join the Scent Course?
A: Not at all! Our Scent Course is suitable for beginners and experienced dogs alike. We tailor the activities to suit each dog's ability and experience level.

Q: What if my dog is nervous or reactive around others?
A: We strive to make all courses a safe, supportive space. Let us know in advance and we can suggest the most suitable class or offer 1-to-1 support if needed.

Q: How long does each course run?
A: Each course typically runs for 5 weeks, with one session per week. This may vary slightly depending on the course type and group needs.

Q: What should I bring to the classes?
A: Bring your dog on a flat collar or body harness and lead (no retractable leads/slip leads/figure of eight/head harness), plenty of tasty treats, a favourite toy, and a positive attitude!

Q: What if my dog is unwell or unable to attend?
A: You are still welcome to attend without your dog to see what skills are being taught - enabling you to still practise at home.

Q: What is your policy on cancellations and refunds if I am unable to attend?
A: No refunds offered. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for further information.

Q: Can children attend the course?
A: Yes, but they must be accompanied by an adult. (Maximum of two people per dog.)
